WOMEN: Men Play, Women Play

When you think of video games, you think of children although adults play them too. When it comes to which 'sex' play these video games you automatically will think of males. Men aren't the only ones that play video games throughout the world. Growing up as a kid, the boy will be the one who is playing video games, and the girl is playing with her dolls. There is a stereotype which states that women do not play video games. This is false, I have girl friends who actually enjoys playing video games, and enjoy the type of video games that men play. To every man in the world of loves video games, remember the next time you are playing online, that great opponent can be a female !

MEN: Househusbands are Rare

This stereotype is widely known when it comes to marriage or to any relationship. Many people in today's society think that a woman is suppose to be the home carer and the "housewife." While we may think that this statement is true, their are househusbands out there, so you can never doubt a man and his responsibilities. There are many men in the world who proves that this stereotype should be deleted in history. I'm pretty sure back in the past, a woman was suppose to be the housewife while the man is out at work. A woman is suppose to stay home, not work, and take care or their children if they had any. Times has definitely changed, and there may even be relationships where the woman has the job, and the man is at home doing the ordinary things the woman does. This society just needs to come to an understanding that there are many househusbands that take pride in what they do, so that the woman doesn't have to always do the work. Househusbands was rare in the past, but here in the future more and more are starting to reveal themselves.

WOMEN: Sports isn't just a Man's sport

Seeing women in sports have drastically changed throughout the years. In today's society, there are many different sports you can see a woman in. Basketball, soccer, tennis and even football are all sports you expect being played by men. We all know that in the past there was a saying "This is a mans game" or "This is a mans sport." Men used to visualize women as weak when they see them playing football or basketball. Most people don't think that women have the strength to play these type of sports. In toady's world, we see women all around the media in sports. Women have definitely proved that they are tough enough for these sports. There are even famous women athletes such as, Lisa Leslie, Serena Williams, Skylar Diggins and Candace Parker. Seeing women play football is becoming more common now, and will eventually rise to become more known. So men, don't get it twisted when saying that sport's is a man's game. There are even women who are better than some men when it comes to sports.

MEN: So Messy and Unclean

There are many men out there that are not messy and unclean. This stereotype presents that all men are messy when it comes to their personal space. My mother taught me the value of a clean home. In my room I have everything organized in bins and drawers, my clothes hung neatly and my shoes still in their box. Media portrays men as messy house holders and women as neat freaks. I am pretty sure that there are men out in the world who take this stereotype offensive. I actually know a girl who brother is cleaner than her. The brother room is spotless, whereas, his sister room there are piles of clothes and shoes in different places of the floor. To make a long blog short, this stereotype can be inaccurate and overturned.
